Avantages
It was the people at the base level that kept this company going. No matter how low morale could get, everyone kept an upbeat, positive outlook and continued to strive to make the company better. The perks were nice - free snacks, Starbucks machine, foosball and ping pong tables, and an overall laid back atmosphere. Everyone seemed to jive well together and a lot of activities outside of the office were organized (ski days, camping trips, etc). Location is great, easy for commuting being so close to Union Station. Flexible schedule for those with families, outside hobbies were encouraged, etc.
Inconvénients
Management. Many managers placed in positions/pay grades far above their experience/capacity. As a result, many decisions were made on a whim and had bad consequences. Decisions would be reversed but oftentimes too late. Many, MANY reorganizations of the company which led to a lot of confusion.
