Thank you! I as the owner believe in communication. I do not have all the time to communicate to all 15-20 staff. I typically speak to the foreman or project manager who then spreads the word. As the owner I am busy doing sales and trying to make sure we all have work for months ahead and not slow down. I would like nothing more to communicate with all staff but then I would have to sacrifice other things to take the time to call each staff member and not upcoming jobs. I care we all stay busy. Not just for myself but also staff. Sorry you felt we were not a good fit. But we do have long term staff that do understand and feel we are fair. I personally wish you the best in your future endeavours!

We actually do pay OT or an option to bank time and paid out on rain days. Our staff get a choice to pick OT pay or averaging agreement and paid out on rain days those hours. I see you work for us still as you are currently employed. But I haven’t had anyone come to me to discuss as you would have had an employment agreement and would Have choosen the averaging agreement if you are saying no OT pay as we do pay that. It’s upsetting to see a false accusations when that is not true. We have a couple staff that have been with us for years and like working with us as we are fair and give time off when asked. And long weekends when a holiday is on a weekend we still do a 3 day weekend when we technically being in this industry do not have to give this 3rd day off when the holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday. We feel time off is important for staff. Sorry you feel a 2 star is how you feel and it’s tough. We do our best to accommodate to make it easier on staff with power wheelbarrows, and stand behind skidsteers to load. Not like manual wheelbarrows and shovels to fill up wheelbarrows. We do what we can not to make it tough. It is landscape construction so it is physically demanding but also pay is well for hard working great personality type people.
