Avantages
The team is filled with skilled professionals who are passionate about their work and willing to help each other out. The office space is vibrant and conducive to collaboration, fostering a sense of community among employees.
Inconvénients
Working under the current CTO at Limeroad has been a frustrating experience. While the company has the potential to be a leader in the e-commerce space, the lack of clear direction and ineffective leadership has been a significant roadblock. The CTO often shifts priorities without consulting the team, leading to confusion and wasted resources. There seems to be a reluctance to adopt modern technologies or practices, which puts us at a disadvantage compared to our competitors. The communication is inadequate; feedback is rarely taken seriously, and many talented team members feel undervalued and overlooked. Moreover, there’s a noticeable disconnect between the tech teams and management. A culture of fear prevails, where employees hesitate to voice concerns or propose new ideas. This environment stifles innovation and makes it difficult to foster collaboration. Additionally, the decision-making process is often opaque. It feels like lower-level employees’ insights are not valued, leading to frustration and disengagement. The emphasis appears to be more on rapid product releases rather than thorough testing and quality assurance, which has resulted in numerous issues down the line. Work-life balance can also be a concern, as the demands tend to spill over outside of office hours without much support from leadership. Overall, I believe Limeroad has potential, but there needs to be significant improvement in leadership and team engagement for it to truly thrive.
