I was initially hesitant to apply after reading these reviews, but I decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately, like many others have mentioned, I was let go less than a month after being hired without any explanation. This was despite integrating well into the team and receiving positive feedback from providers. It’s evident that this is a recurring issue and a clear sign of poor, unprofessional management. I can only imagine how costly it is for the company to repeatedly onboard and then dismiss employees. I strongly advise against applying for this position, and if you see it advertised, consider reporting it. There are far better opportunities elsewhere.

They have a track record of letting people go randomly without giving reason. While yes, NJ is an at will state and they are not legally required to give reason for letting you go-you would think that because this is a mental health facility they would care about the well being of their employees. Management for the front office is fine however they are under the thumb of a money hungry, careless, completely absent woman. I worked there for over a year and never once spoke with/met the owner of the business Naomi. I unfortunately was another victim of hers. I got a rave review and even got a raise. Only to get let go 1 month later because “it just isn’t working out”. When I asked for an explanation they [Naomi and my direct manager] refused give one. I texted the manager to request a formal termination letter about 5 minutes after the call ended where they let me go, she had already blocked me. This is a pattern of theirs. Go ahead and google them and you can see reviews of other employees this has happened to I cared deeply about the patients that I worked with. I made it my goal to ensure every interaction they had with me in person and over the phone was a positive one. There were even patients who left a review and named me specifically stating great things about my interactions. I built professional relationships with both the patients and the therapists. Its a shame I wasn’t given a chance to say goodbye. Furthermore, it is a shame that the owner doesn’t care about the wellbeing of the patients or her staff-especially in todays mental health climate. Also a massive lack of diversity within all departments. I worked with one non-white person and out of a staff of about 30. Do with that information what you will. Think twice before applying and if you do I would suggest you to inquire about the outrageous turn over rate in your interview.
