Avantages
You will get more opportunities and develop Underwriting skills faster here than any other commercial insurance company. You will likely be working on accounts sooner than you are ready pressing you to develop underwriting knowledge quickly. AIG/Lexington also had a a great match for employee retirement accounts/ 401K.
Inconvénients
Limited support staff, and the constant feeling of being overworked and underappreciated. AIG has so many people in management that we have high expense ratios due to management oversite. If you can stick it out and make it to a high level the compensation gets radically different very quickly.
