Avantages
The student population is wonderful and I look forward to teaching everyday. My coworkers are very supportive and my supervisor is both supportive and kind in her constructive criticism. This is a place for students to grow. I have worked in the public school system as a Special Educator for many years and I have to say this (LPS) is where I shall retire. There is room to grow both in my teaching career and within the school itself. Also, the school community consists of two schools, an upper and lower.
Inconvénients
I don't really have any cons about the school other than the amount of work and responsibility that teachers are required to do. It may be nice if the school hired additional substitute teachers to cover lunch duty, recess, etc. Teachers are required to share in all of these additional responsibilities over and above the classroom responsibilities.
