Avantages
I don’t have because I don’t know so much about the company. I wasn’t managed by them… just from the customer. But they know how hire good people and I met very good people. I heard that used to be a good place to work but they lost lots and lots of good people and managers. The company is about to go bankrupt. In the present moment they have only one customer (which I had the unhappy experience to be working with).
Inconvénients
The managers are there for nothing. They only get in some scrum meetings and that’s all they do. Sometimes they say something about some issues sometimes nothing. The customer is part of the standups everyday and they are actually the managers. You will be in the hands of the customer. If you have any problems with the customer… that’s over. No other client for you. I told one manager of Launch that I was with personal problems in my life affecting my productivity but I was making efforts to come back and deliver more. He smartly with the client removed me from the company because this is the only one way to keep LaunchCode alive. They need everyone being 100% or more all the time. So… if something decreases think more… never tell them… they have no leaders they have stackholders/owners managing nowadays.
