      Avantages

      Convenient as you work from home.

      Inconvénients

      They never properly train you enough to handle Diagnosis, Prognosis in Doctor's offices, and hospitals. They never provide additional training for legal settings. they never increase my salary during my 3 years. They only give you 15 minutes break during 4-hour shifts so it's 2 hours of back-to-back non-stop calls. Your voice hurts so much after each day. Pay is very minimal.

      Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. Hourly Employees have scheduled breaks and are paid according to labor law guidelines based on full time and part time status. We strive to provide the most up to date training available, we have 24 X 7 support and self-support available in our extensive eLibrary. We have many other resources available to support our interpreters. We wish you well in your future endeavors.

      Just have to get used to/be ready for same day job assignments.

      Avantages

      Stay home. That's all. Nothing else.

      Inconvénients

      Fifteen seconds to recover between stressful calls. The health insurance they offer is super expensive for the poorly paid for hours you get. It does not match. Micromanage everything, constant supervised and not a proper guidance after being pointed the errors of the week. Extreme poorly paid for the higher quality of job that they want. The company charges 3 or 4 dollars for minute, but an interpreter gets paid 15 an hour before taxes. See the difference? Days off unpaid always. Not fair. Not even during sickness, grief or personal emergencies.
