Warning peeps, If you’re considering a biz-dev role and the company only gives you Salesforce and Sales Navigator, don’t take it. You’ll be stuck doing outreach like it’s 1998. No sequencing tools, no enrichment, no automation. You’ll grind in circles. Sales meetings feel like weekend catch-ups for half the team, not strategy. Sure, it’s WFH, but at this rate they’ll be dragging people back to an office within a year because there’s no real operational base or GTM engine in place. That’s the reality.
