Avantages

1. Landytech's product - Sesame is a masterstroke. It's a game changer for investment reporting. 2. The tech team seems to be doing well and has a good culture.

Inconvénients

1. The client team has a really bad work culture. Consequently it has extremely high attrition (at least 3-4 members of of a team comprised of about 10 people leave in less than a year). 2. Client expectations are managed poorly and the team is expected to push beyond any reasonable measure every reporting cycle. This is when a regular work day itself is at least 10 hours on most days. 3. Waking up to 1-2AM messages or messages over the weekend is quite normal. 4. Every sick leave is scrutinized as if no-one has the right to fall sick. 5. Public shaming is the norm (on group chats, people are directly threatened regarding probation, late deliveries etc. without any space to explain themselves) 6. Communication is poor. Sometimes one might be told to do X but then yelled on (publicly) for not doing Y. They shift the goal post too frequently, often without clear intimation.

Inconvénients

1. Gender based inequality 2. Dismissive behaviour by senior management 3. Preferential treatment towards employees who have the LUXURY to work beyond contract planned hours. 4. Schedules packed with unnecessary meetings dominated by single person running projects without any proper planning or road maps. 5. VP level management employees struggling to stay in their lanes and interfering in all disciplines.
