Avantages
Direct manager and supervisor are both very good with communicating and understanding when problems arise and problem solving needs to be addressed. The benefits (car, other benefits) are great. No weekends. Management is very understanding and tries to work with you when you need a day off for family/health/etc…
Inconvénients
1) Some days there are communication breakdowns with dispatch about pickups which is a time waster when you are on a tight schedule. 2) The handheld malfunctions at times making it hard to accomplish your tasks. 3) When other couriers are late, it messes with your productivity and ability to keep time on pickups and you potentially can pass that on to another courier. 4) Dispatch needs to organize pickups in a better manner. There are locations that I pass and could easily pick up on my route, but I am sent to other pickups out of the way and another courier has to go out of their way to obtain pickups that I passed. If the couriers were set up with stops that lined up, more would get done in an efficient manner. Maps and routes need to be studied better. The best resource for this is your couriers.
