Avantages
Really good learning experience if you get the right team and manager. Hands on experience in any tool you wish to work on. Flexibility with respect to location once you have spent enough time in the org.
Inconvénients
Absolute hell-hole if you get stuck in politics. No perks no benefits, need to compulsorily fall sick for 2 days to get sick leave! Even after getting extra clients, you have to keep proving yourself. Only the AVP and above people get paid handsomely. Most embarrassing to see senior folks being have to travel economically. I saw almost 0 hike for 2 years straight. First they will be after you for finding a project once you are on bench, then once you somehow manage to get it in some other BU or PU, the managers will fight amongst themselves about who will claim the revenue from client. It is already been 3+ years yet there is internal rivalry between the merged entities LTI and Mindtree! While other IT service orgs are busy trying to sell AI solutions, this org is busy changing its logo! Real work & strategy drives business, not changing logos as if it had some astrological charm!
