Job candidates are misled to believe that there is a team-based environment. In reality, leadership team demonstrates bad culture. The management team doesn't even realize the true nature of company culture is determined not by what you say but by what you do. When managers are not willing to get their hands dirty, there's no number of free snacks that can help your company. Most good employees would leave in a heartbeat if they find better alternatives. Technology is stale. Completely irrelevant product from the 90s that has not changed nor improved due to lack of vision, strategy, and direction from the management. Maintains rigidly hierarchical, top down structure. Authoritarian and conservative management. A hateful boss takes credit for your accomplishments and grabs your ideas. Capable people will not put up with being treated like interchangeable machine parts or pieces of meat.
