Avantages
Overall the staff here is amazing! They knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to help. It was a diverse mix of people in age, gender, and race/ethnicity - especially for the area. I also really enjoyed having such a comprehensive health care system in-house. There were psychiatrists, NPs, crisis, case management, and other professionals, making the continuum of care seamless. The staff was regularly undergoing training and working with different populations (JSOP, Substance, CPS, etc.)
Inconvénients
Due to county budgeting, Kings View was constantly in limbo financial, strongly relying on contracts. Luckily, the management was apt at procuring contracts with the company's has a excellent reputation and willingness to extend itself. The staff was regularly undergoing training and was open to new d The temperature in the building is not centrally controlled so there are areas of the building (sometimes personal offices) where it is extremely warm and other offices where it is cold. I mention this because the temperatures are extreme enough where patients complain and I would be sweating during the day.
