Avantages

- some really great people, probably the best team I worked with - people really have passion and drive to do good, unfortunately they've all been scammed into this.

Inconvénients

- CEO is a complete scammer and surrounded himself with more incompetence, lives in his own echo chamber. - contracts/legal obligations mean absolutely nothing to them - they haven't paid salaries for 2 months and they just keep lying and promising that they will pay - CEO has no vision - all he cares about is running a ponzi scheme, steal investors money and pocket everything while ruining people's lives in the process by not paying them for their honest work. now he wants to destroy the UK office just so he can pocket more investor money - there is no future for this company because they only care about scamming people, not actually building a product that works or can be used. shame they chose edTech for this. - now they're paying some people to post positive reviews - I can assure you the positive ones are fake.

Avantages

My coworkers. At least I had some brilliant people to work with.

Inconvénients

Lack of leadership. Claiming to be a “startup” but instead of keeping things lean and fast they kept building layers within the hierarchy that just helped fulfill greed for upper management. Especially the CEO - the one time he had the chance to speak to folks for the first time at a townhall in a growing company he opted in for a short video message instead of a live session demonstrating a lack of passion or interest in engaging with employees. The vision and goals were never clear but even when there were any, things would be thrown out the window the next day - not by any strategic means but because the CEO “didn’t like it”. Everything was about whether the CEO liked it not - not what the market or users would need or want.
