Avantages
I loved the fact that the work day is only seven and a half hours! Plus, the location is nice. It is in the heart of Mandarin, just off of San Jose. You don't have to drive downtown, or to the busy Southside area. Other employees are typically willing to share their knowledge when asked. When I need time off, they are flexible and accommodating. They give a Christmas bonus, even to the new employees. That impressed me because not every company does that these days. One nice thing about the small company is that the boss knows everyone and we all know him.
Inconvénients
In my opinion they value quantity over quality. Sometimes you have to spend longer on one customer to take care of them properly, but I do not get the feeling that they consider this to be a positive. They are more concerned with selling new policies. Some departments have offices, others have mid-sized cubicles, and one group has cubes that are less than twenty square feet. People are on the phone a lot and you can't help but overhear the conversations. Many of the account managers talk badly about their customers, once they've hung up the phone. Although most of the employees here are female the language can be pretty foul too.
