      Avantages

      Great pay, decent workload, lots of room to bring in some creative ideas, a lot of annual leave and a great opportunity to travel and experience new cultures.

      Inconvénients

      The programme go to great efforts to help you fit in in your new community, however I feel like they could encourage learning Japanese language a little more.

      Avantages

      JETs have support from CLAIR , their Board of Education, and local AJET chapters. CLAIR provides training, orientations, and even funding for teaching certifications.

      Inconvénients

      Some ALTs co-teach actively and feel valued; others get stuck reading from a script. Your school, co-workers, and Board of Education make a big difference.
