Avantages
+ People treated as adults: you come in when you can, get work done based on your own estimates and style (no micro managing), stand behind your own decisions.
+ Flexible timing: Often I need to take care of some family stuff in the morning and was never worried about it. There was another guy who went on holiday for a couple weeks and worked remotely without any issues.
+ Small company (10 peeps): you know everyone you work with, no politics or bs.
+ Cool perks: we got new iPhone Xs for Christmas, went to a cabin in Whistler to ski for a couple days, weekly company lunches.
+ Growing business: we increased revenue considerabliy last year so outlook is quite positive and cheerful.
Inconvénients
- No health/disability insurance: it's a startup so they haven't gotten round to ironing out some of the benefits you'd get at a corporate job.
