Avantages
1. I’ve had the privilege of working with high-quality and extremely smart co-workers.
2. The opportunity to deal with new and unique problems (most of which are highly preventable).
3. If you can handle the stress, the weekly disasters are entertaining.
Inconvénients
See all of the above in the Pros section. Basically, all of your great co-workers you get to know and rely on due their wealth of knowledge, end up leaving (they never stay long), or being terminated for finding solutions to painfully ridiculous problems, or for simply wanting to do something right. There is also a gut-wrenching feeling of guilt by compliance when the realization hits that you are contributing to an outrageously over-priced and broken product being spammed upon school districts across the nation (another wonderful example of tax waste and abuse). The company has lost their entire knowledge base, and despite a frantic flow of new-hires, the company cannot hire fast enough to replace those that are leaving.
