Avantages

Mailchimp is a great company in many respects. It pays competitively, benefits are pretty good. However, if you are qualified to work here you can probably find a better employer. Once human-centric, Mailchimp has been purchased by Intuit and the changes have been drastic. Much of our experienced talent with specialized knowledge has left. The direction of the company has changed greatly and is largely being pushed in the direction of making quarterly profits. The work is still okay but the culture has changed a lot and continues to change to match its new Fortune 500 leadership.

Inconvénients

The human cost of being acquired has been great. People are getting worked much harder than before and many deadlines are mounting up and becoming impossible. The fun quirky perks that made Mailchimp a nice and fun place to work are gone. You can probably find a better employer if you're qualified to work here. That used to not be the case.

Avantages

Benefits are amazing, medical insurance, vision and dental. Company match on 401K and volunteer time off.

Inconvénients

They keep making decisions to outsource jobs to contract workers who don't share the same value in training or customer care. Oh they say they do but when you catch the listening to music so loud you can't hear the customer, or literally snoring on the line they can't do anything because of the way the contracts are set up. It is up to the contract company and the contract company just needs warm bodies. They did not even supply enough people doing our busiest season this year to co or the shifts that were required in the contract. So good luck with that. They will always eventually lay you off.
