Avantages

Corporate goals are in line with the company culture. People are honest, caring, driven, and have class. Everyone really cares about the customer experience - from leaders to new college-grads. You're also encouraged to be yourself, let your flag fly high - diversity (in all aspects), equity, and inclusion are taken seriously here. Internal mobility is also widely accepted and encouraged. Hiring manager think to look internally to fill roles, before looking externally. A focus on your personal health above work is prevalent - and expected. Taking time off to recharge or taking mental health days is also encouraged. You have an opportunity to work with a lot of big brand name products: TurboTax, QuickBooks, Mint, Credit Karma… and the people all have the same vibe!

Inconvénients

It's a big company, so there are some of the typical big company issues. Some teams have micro-cultures that aren't always awesome, but you might be able to move out to a different team. Bureaucracy and socializing your work can sap you if you don't conserve your energy. Speed as a culture is constantly being broadcast, though, this can lead to teams doing duplicative work, since the company is big.

Avantages

Benefits are amazing, medical insurance, vision and dental. Company match on 401K and volunteer time off.

Inconvénients

They keep making decisions to outsource jobs to contract workers who don't share the same value in training or customer care. Oh they say they do but when you catch the listening to music so loud you can't hear the customer, or literally snoring on the line they can't do anything because of the way the contracts are set up. It is up to the contract company and the contract company just needs warm bodies. They did not even supply enough people doing our busiest season this year to co or the shifts that were required in the contract. So good luck with that. They will always eventually lay you off.
