Avantages
Like anywhere, there are some nice people. Decent comp package, but your bonus is set to be impossible to achieve.
Inconvénients
This place is toxic and it starts at the top. CEO is dishonest, has a racist or degrading nickname for everyone, and seems to genuinely enjoy seeding chaos and tearing people down. For the salespeople, targets mean nothing. CEO changes commission payouts every month on a whim. CRO likes to make side deals with only certain reps and then when it's time to pay them, he 'remembers it differently'. Bonuses are set up as a significant component of your pay; however, the targets you get are all set up to be virtually unreachable, subject to change at any time (including after the quarter has ended and they're determining payout), and anything less than near-full achievement pays out nothing. If you're a director or above, be very careful who you talk to and what you say. There are too many senior leaders there just playing politics so they can try to avoid the ire of the CEO. There are some good people in lower positions within HR, but the HR leaders are there to protect Intermex - not you. There is no work/life balance. It's all work and that is the minimum expectation. You're expected to work extra hours, weekends, and holidays (even if the office is closed). PTO is very difficult to take and is something the CEO frowns upon.
