Avantages
People are very collaborative and helpful by default. If you raise an issue, or have a suggestion, your voice will be heard and people will work to make the change actually happen (which cannot be said for some other places). Great opportunities for growth, it's the type of place where if you put in the work you will get a lot out of it, and it will be noticed by management and by your peers. Management is honest, transparent and considerate, "strive for no surprises during reviews or 1:1s" and I found this to be true.
Inconvénients
There is legacy code to improve, so there is often change in development processes and workflows, but it's actively being upgraded and that beats complacency about old code.
