Avantages

Solid cybersecurity stack and marketing engine Some great individuals still on the team doing their best National reach and decent brand recognition

Inconvénients

After the private equity acquisition, the company focus shifted heavily toward EBITDA and margin over people or service Many decisions now feel financially driven rather than client- or employee-focused Overseas support led to a drop in service quality and response consistency High employee turnover, especially among seasoned team members who valued the original culture Disconnect between leadership and front-line teams has widened over time Feels more like a numbers game now than a mission-driven business

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We genuinely appreciate it when former team members take the time to reflect and offer perspective—even when it's tough to hear. It’s true: our company has gone through significant growth and transformation. We began as three strong MSPs, each with solid roots and loyal teams. Merging them was the first chapter. Then, with private equity investment, we accelerated our growth to a full MSSP and brought in several more organizations on top of that evolving foundation. That kind of scale isn’t easy—and we acknowledge that integration, change, and recalibration have brought both opportunity and growing pains. Not everyone has found that shift to be the right fit. And while we respect and honor the culture that got us here, we also know that building a resilient, modern MSSP at scale requires structure, performance, and evolution. What hasn’t changed—and never will—are our core values: Do the Right Thing, Have an Open Mind, and Be a Creator. They continue to anchor us in everything we do. Our 8.1 company engagement score across nearly 400 team members, consistent internal kudos, recognition programs, and regular connection points—like daily huddles, newsletters, and global events—are proof that the soul of the company hasn’t been lost. It’s growing along with us. We’ve also made measurable improvements: enhanced career pathing, better compensation transparency, flexible work options for global teams, and new leadership with experience scaling MSSPs the right way. Our support model is global by design, allowing us to hire the best-fit talent regardless of location. It’s not perfect—but it’s working, and we’re committed to continuous improvement, training, and accountability. To those reading this review and wondering if we’ve lost our way—we haven’t. We’re simply building something bigger. More structured, more resilient, and more capable of delivering long-term value to clients and team members alike. We wish this former team member well and thank them for being part of our journey. Their input reminds us that while growth is hard, staying true to your values through it all is what sets a great company apart. That’s our North Star.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for being part of the team. We’re really glad to hear your experience with your manager and teammates has been a good one. A strong team dynamic makes all the difference, and it’s something we work hard to build and protect. We also hear you on compensation. It's a concern, and you’re not alone in feeling that way. We’ve been taking a closer look at how we reward people, and your feedback adds to the conversations we’re already having at the leadership level. Appreciate you taking the time to share what’s working and what could be better. It helps more than you know.

Avantages

Really awesome people you will be working with day-to-day. They are supportive and want to see you succeed at work It is a great way to progress your career forward if you are new or somewhat new to IT I would argue that the benefits are pretty decent: 4% matching 401(k), fully covered Medical, Dental and Vision plans with paid options at good rates with lower deductibles. About 13 hours of PTO accrued per month. In an era where many companies are demanding RTO, ITS is still pretty friendly when it comes to working remotely full-time.

Inconvénients

It is an MSP and unfortunately it comes with the typical issues that most other MSPs have such as reluctance to adopt modern technologies (seriously working here is like going back to 2009), messy or missing documentation, subpar SLA adherence and most importantly: below average pay. As of recent, there has been a negative culture-shift at ITS. They used to pay for many certification exams and even give you raises for certifications. They still do that, but it is far more restrictive than it used to be. Also no more holiday parties as of 2024. Bonuses (which were already small) also got a significant cut in 2024. Upper management cares more about how they can sell a service or bill a client rather than making sure we are deploying the right solution. This always comes back to bite us as we have to deal with the fallout when the client inevitably has issues. VPN tickets are EXTREMELY common here. Business > technology at a ratio of 9:1 at ITS. The company talks a BIG game when it comes to security, but it is just a facade to sell more services to the clients. Security practices are subpar at best here. ITS will sometimes deploy Windows Server for clients WITHOUT ever activating it and act like it's no big deal. ITS likes to "merge" and buy out competing MSPs, which makes ITS bigger. The issue is that we now have many different teams with segmented workflows and "micro-cultures" and it makes everything all the more confusing.
