Management seem blissfully unaware of how unhappy their staff are No clear direction for technologies; constant flip-flopping leave dev team lost and confused about what direction they're supposed to heading Unable to retain staff (turnover around 50-60%) and struggling to attract new staff Have let their contractor company (brought in due to the above issue with staff retention) dictate major decisions on system architecture, despite the contractor company having a proven track record of poor quality code and convoluted, messy architecture. The tech debt is embarassing. Demoted staff in a company-wide email, without even informing the staff beforehand.
