Avantages
Flexibility in hybrid and remote work. An extra day off nearly every month to help employees disconnect on a company level. If you have a good idea it's a great place to explore and try it out. You're able to find opportunities to contribute beyond your role which also leads to a lot of internal mobility that is supported and encouraged by leaders Well-intentioned people that want the best for their fellow team members and do try to respect and support one another. Many managers are open and will support and respect you. The business has become more defined and mature over the past few years and the software is a great benefit to the clients who use it. Some leaders are really excellent at leading their functions and it shows in the dedication and work of their teams.
Inconvénients
Understaffed teams can be a drain on other departments causing delays in work moving forward for those that rely on those teams, particularly within G&A teams like Marketing, Accounts Payable, Payroll, HRIT. A few teams do not have the strongest leaders and they sometimes struggle to advocate effectively for their team's needs and plan for career growth. At the moment there are too few resources to truly make progress in L&D, Recognition, and DEIB programs which needs to be a main focus of HR now the company has grown so much. Need to have dedicated team members paid for overseeing and holding the business accountable for making things happen consistently and with the wider employee voice represented.
