Avantages
My Program manager was amazing! I have a four-year-old so I constantly had a lot going on and I didn’t necessarily perform at my peak, and I know but even with that he was tried his best to explain and support where he could. Also, the company is very flexible and supportive as a whole, constantly evolving which and very customizable (depending on your team though). OVERALL Insight Global deserves a good rating I feel.
Inconvénients
The job I was told I was going to be doing changed a lot when I started, not necessarily the fault of the company but everything is very flexible because each client is so different. What I ended up doing did not work best for me and that eventually reflected in my work. Internally though I felt that certain people on the team completely shifted things on a program level from hot and cold which also made things difficult at times…Everyone holds responsibility; I felt I was held fully accountable (understandably) but not sure that the team or company possibly considered their part, however small it may have been. I like candor and I feel like only one or maybe two people were candid with me up until the end. Everyone else constantly just stated how great I was doing, which after hearing everything honestly was disappointing and frankly upsetting. My manager and I attempted multiple times to get me better tools and access so I could function better, but they never did get back to us during my entire tenure. I think the company overall is great but depending on your personality and the program that you get, it might not be best for you and that’s not something you can learn until you join though.
