Avantages
- Good opportunity to learn about IT - Most people are nice - Opportunity to make good money (through commission) if you can be patient for a couple of years - Company is pretty diverse - Good work life balance
Inconvénients
- Poor Management: Can't speak for all managers but based on my experience, unprofessional behavior like swearing at employees (not the playful kind), non-constructive feedback, bullyish behavior, etc. - Low compensation - Lack of integrity in management: making promises, pulling back on them, and then gaslighting you when you ask about them - Benefits aren't really competitive - The industry is pretty saturated and competitive so selling is pretty difficult. Insight also doesn't really seem to have much of a differentiated product/service offering so there is a lot of pushback from prospects.
