Avantages
Can't think of one for IT. The team has some skilled people they are just not allowed to perform as well as they can.
Inconvénients
You will be wasting your time on meetings, a lot of meetings. Your skill set will be questioned (read: criticized) by senior management at almost every opportunity if you don't know the answer right away - in front of the whole team at times. You will be required to work on some week nights almost every week. Management changes direction constantly and what was in place one month, may not be the next. The environment is very hostile with high turnover and the negativity starts at the top. Definitely look at other opportunities since there is almost no opportunity to move inside as it is a small company.
