Avantages

Great boss !! No micro-managing. Top of the line Ophthalmic Diagnostic Instruments. Great colleagues.

Inconvénients

Once a sale was made, it took many months to get to the clients, sometimes up to 6-12 months ! Company had serious financial problems and had to restructure across Canada.

Avantages

Experience, ability to work independently, good, young staff base. As a distributor they choose the products well and offer better products than their competitors. If you do well you are left alone and treated well by the owners. The owners are nice and appreciative of you when you put up high numbers. You also get a broad range of experience as you sell so many different products.

Inconvénients

They do not stock key products so customers are constantly made to wait. Also they only hire minimal amounts of people to service/support their products. If these people are not available (often the case) the customer has to wait again. Product training is minimal so be prepared to study on your own.

Avantages

Great marketing department. Get to work with a whole team in the USA, Canada and Mexico. You can set your own hours for marketing, as long as you get everything done.

Inconvénients

Head office is from downtown Toronto and not very good public transport to get there. Sales team asks for a lot.
