Avantages

1.Location - The office is at Sector 62, Noida which is near Gaziabad and to City center, Noida. Though there is no metro facility to this sector you could always get a company shuttle depending on the timing or a share auto. 2.Flexi timing - Even if the shift timing is stipulated, there is no strict adherence to the entry time.

Inconvénients

1.Communication in the team, especially between team leader and members is near to nothing. For eg. no unified guidance from senior staff members regarding process. 2.No facility to communicate with each other electronically as desk phones and email are only available for staff above a certain level. 3.No transparency in the company's working/policies. 4.Most people do not have any exposure in any other company as this is the first and probably the last company too, in their careers. 5.People are so comfortable with the lethargic and laid back work culture that no body wants to move even if they are stagnated for more than 10 years in the same post and department. 6.Practically no vertical or horizontal career movement. 7.No body seem to care about the company or the team they work for. It is always about oneself. 8.No quality improvement measure in place. 9.No option for training for promotees or retraining for staff for years after their inception. 10.No option for soft skills/communication training for managers. 11.Lack of growth opportunities result in frustration among employees.

Avantages

The vast majority of the people I worked with on projects for a major internet company were friendly and educated. The pay was decent for trivial remote work.

Inconvénients

Projects were tedious at best and seemed poorly designed. Rubrics designed either by the contracting company or Innodata were often poorly thought through, and rules tripped over themselves or remained ambiguous. The company we were sub-contracted to was infamous for not replying to inquiries asking for clarification for how to evaluate the AI. Prompts given to the AI were often incoherent--just a word or name, often misspelled--which left us making arbitrary decisions about how well the AI addressed the prompt. Rubrics were hidden from employees evaluating the AI, though that seemed to be a result of neglect by a company still figuring out how to run things, not an active decision to deceive employees. I left well before the recent waves of layoffs. Management had tried to assure us that jobs were secure, but that seemed delusional given that the contracting company was farming out work through other companies rather than hire us itself.
