Avantages
Starting pay is $15/hr and they may let you work from home though that does seem to be going away as of last week.
Inconvénients
They lose their minds if you go to the bathroom sometime other than your scheduled breaks as if your bladder and body are supposed to magically sync up and change to whenever your breaks are that day. How dare we have a normal bodily function that requires 2 minutes away from the computer, right? You're constantly getting incorrect or confusing information which in turn makes you look and sound like an idiot while speaking to customers on the phone because supervisors are never on the same page regarding policies. They lie and mislead you a lot during the training as well as have ridiculous expectations for you to meet on calls and for the time spent handling a call. The tools you're supposed to use for help are often lacking information or make very little sense making it difficult to do your job when it's not the basic or one of the most common things being called about. The meet and great and interviews are very misleading as well, they make it seem like it is a fun, exciting, and supportive place to work at and it is nothing of the sort unless you like sitting all day, not being able to go pee, and getting insulted by stupid customers all day long with supervisors always siding with customers no matter how ridiculous they are being. There's a terrible work life balance here, you will feel like most of your time is spent here and never at home even if you are working from home. You don't even really get 15 minutes for a break as they are such hardasses about you being one second off as if the world is going to end or a customer can't wait when they're at fault anyway. Customers are extremely rude when half the time they are having problems with their faucet due to their own neglect and letting an issue go on for over a year or several years. They just expect free parts and free faucets all the time and for some reason can't see the word limited where it says lifetime limited warranty. They only see lifetime warranty and choose not to read anything else where it shows what is actually covered under it and expect us to just give them a free faucet because they let something leak or continue to be damaged for several years. Then they request a supervisor and the supervisor tries to make you feel like or sound stupid when you followed all of the policies and procedures. Unless you want to be stressed out over improper training and information, not be able to take a quick bathroom break like a normal human, and have to meet ridiculous expectations as well as deal with asinine customers all day you shouldn't work here. You can definitely find a job paying $15/hr or higher for less stress and more freedom as well as structure. They have an extremely high turnover rate here, people drop like flies and there's really no surprise why. They are always hiring due to how bad they are. I've only been here for 3 months but I plan on putting in my 2 weeks within the next few days because this is truly an awful job where I have to fight the urge to call in, leave early, or just hangup on customers everyday because I obviously need money and have bills to pay.
