Avantages
It's a job. To help people in need. Diverse group of colleagues.
Inconvénients
Micromanaged. We are treated like children. There is no point in team leaders as they are incapable of doing their own job and restart advisors often have to help them to complete basic tasks. You're not actually trained on things you need knowledge of such as the benefit system, childcare, parenting, mental health, housing, I could go on. All the company cares about is ticking boxes and making money. Disconnect between senior management and anyone in the office, They pay doesn't match the amount of work you have to complete and the stress the job brings. There is nothing really in place for wellbeing, management does not care about their employees wellbeing. No opportunities to progress your career. Unfair treatment of employees, clear favoritism. You are punished/ disciplined/ warned for being sick 3 times in the year, no matter what it is for, even though you are entitled to 20 days sick leave, in a customer facing job where they come in with all illnesses and offload their stress and wellbeing to you (which none of us are therapists) They aren't disability confident. There is nothing in place to improve the wellbeing and happiness of the employees dealing with the participants. Company constantly changes the processes, they don't know what they are doing half the time.
