      Avantages

      Ingeus is committed to improving people's lives - by equipping them with skills, improving their employability prospects, and helping them with health-related issues. For this reason, it tends to attract great colleagues who are fun to work with, and who are committed to making the world a better place. The work is varied and stimulating, and the environment is social. By far one of the best companies I've worked for in the UK.

      Inconvénients

      The biggest downside is that many of Ingeus' staff are contractors - which makes for an uncertain hiring environment. This is possibly because of the nature of the work that Ingeus does - government outsourcing services - which requires the company to be able to scale up and scale down very quickly.

      Thanks for your review, it’s fantastic to hear that Ingeus is one of the best companies you have worked for in the UK! As you suggest, the nature of our work means we sometimes hire people on fixed term contracts or as interims because we often need to scale up or down depending on the projects or contracts we are working on. However, it’s really important that when colleagues aren’t permanent, that they still feel like part of the team. You’ve talked about our working environment being social and fun – and working relationships form a big part of this.       Inconvénients

      Been through a lot of redundancies, however businesses are constantly changing and with change in this sector unfortunately comes redundancies. With this in mind I believe those who are made redundant would have taken a huge amount of skills and knowledge from Ingeus/Invisage to support them in another great role/company!
