Avantages

I used to really love working here. The people were amazing and there's something really satisfying about the work. I used to have a lot of faith in the direction the company was going. As far as positives that remained when I left, I still felt I could be honest with customers. No one ever expected me to be a salesman and customers valued my honesty and they wanted to stay because of that, even if we couldn't meet all of their needs, and that meant a lot to me.

Inconvénients

Leaving was one of the best things I've done. In the last year, year and a half or so, it feels like they've lost their soul. In training, it was pounded into us that the company was a "customer service company that specialized in hosting." That was not even close to how it felt when I left. I no longer took pride in the work, as the atmosphere became that everyone working the floor was expendable and the company was trying to find the "next big thing" with poorly implemented ideas full of bugs. From what I hear, it's only gotten significantly worse.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found an organized work environment with effective communication as well as flexibility in work location. Our Operations team works closely with management to regularly review contact volume and look at anticipated volume in order to create our schedules so we can continue to provide assistance to customers in a timely fashion. The average volume of contacts we receive tends to be lower over the weekend so we do schedule less team members during that time. In scheduling our customer-facing team members, we do offer longer shifts for those that prefer to work 4 days a week instead of 5 with the benefit of having 3 days off each week. Our paid time off benefit increases in accordance with years of service. To manage contact volume in real time, we recently introduced new Workflow Management Specialists to our team that monitor and assign volume in order to make adjustments as contact volume changes. Upper management has a habit of introducing new products and/or tools, but documentation for them is sparse and there is very little training for it until months down the line.

We’re glad to hear that you valued the remote work flexibility and the work/life balance we strive to provide for our team members. When we introduce major changes or launch new products or tools, we aim to provide training a couple weeks in advance so everyone has time to review and complete it. These trainings are required to help ensure consistency and a strong understanding across teams. In addition, our Products team shares reference materials through internal communication channels, containing key product information. For some products, we also have AMA-style Slack channels where team members can ask questions directly to the teams behind the product, and supervisors remain available for any additional support or follow-up questions.
