In the current day and age of reducing benefits to control costs, they came up with good ways to manage costs without pulling benefits away from employees. Good career path possible in some departments.
Inconvénients
Worked in an area of the organization that they decided to sell off, despite the outstanding performance of recent years. The costs incurred by a prior regime and their poor decisions as well as a chance to change focus and free-up capital were the motivating factors. Poor decision in a specific market that is seeing a dramaticly shrinking competitive environment where market share was easy to increase in a profitable manner. Current departmental management had a track record of outstanding success, but the company wanted to free up capital.
