Avantages
It is exciting to work on the product with such a great scalability potential. It is one of the unique places where you can work on music, and audio DSP and machine learning which directly shapes User Experience and product features. Working at Humtap gives me opportunities to learn a lot of new things, like new programming languages, and new frameworks and tools. Such opportunities often forced me to step out of my comfort zone.
Inconvénients
The working environment is challenging due to the highly-paced work style and the high expectations when it comes to the personal responsibility and ownership of tasks. Humtap is not a huge or well established corporate structure. It results sometimes in dynamic changes in the work-plan and requires open-mindness and agility. Such environment might not be comfortable for employees or developers who are focused solely on their code and their individual tasks.
