That said, we’ve also seen that private practice is not always the right fit for every clinician. Sometimes, despite a clinician’s effort, clients do not choose to work with them—even with our best support. Other times, the clinician may not take the necessary steps to engage in the process, which can delay caseload growth. This work is deeply human, and that can mean unpredictable outcomes despite everyone’s best intentions.
