Avantages

Decent flex work options. Some managers are decent.

Inconvénients

I had reviews for 2016 that were labeled "Exceptional" on both criteria. I was granted an award for service. Then they found out I had a mental illness and had to go into the hospital. On the day I was released from the hospital, 2 business days following my award and 3 weeks following superlative evaluations, I was informed they were "accepting my resignation" when I had never offered it. They knew they couldn't legally fire me, so they made up that I had resigned. Sound like an ethical employer that is open to supporting employee well-being? My position was certainly not eliminated either, as I saw it posted shortly thereafter. If they really thought they were on firm ground for firing me, for whatever reason, they would've have done so and not claimed I'd resigned without being able to provide any proof that I had resigned. You could excel at every part of your job, but if they get a whiff of mental illness difficulties, they will find a way to make you gone.
