The people on the shop floor, your colleagues are the best part of hologic, amazing people that are very good at their jobs and will look after you, easy to get along with and potential to make friends for life.
Inconvénients
Too many cons to list so I’ll stick to the department I experienced the most in, flow wrapper was abysmal, the manager hasn’t got a clue what he’s doing, from asking the team to skip paperwork and steps on start up to try and catch up and make back lost time on production to ignoring qaulity concerns for the sake of not having a containment raised, his people skills are even worse, only ever coming down to belittle and speak to his staff like something he stepped on outside, engagement scores are a pointless guide because any time the scores were too low he would just bring back a new survey for the team to fill in, once actually taking a team member for a meeting due to the low score they had given him, his management skills and people skills combined can really be shown off by the staff retention or shall I say lack of, considering he’s lost 10 members of staff in as little months, which begs a question to how senior leadership in Manchester have let it go unquestioned for so long.
