      Avantages

      Excellent career opportunities including qualifications that can be taken into civilian life, good travel and excellent sporting opportunities. I would definitely recommend joining the Royal Engineers as the pay scales are excellent

      Inconvénients

      The only downside to being in the HM Forces is if you don't like working away from home a lot or travel. This job is definitely not for you if this is the case

      Experiences and situations you'll get nowhere else. Clear career path and relatively good compensation in the early years.

      Inconvénients

      Time away from family. Lack of performance based rewards system.
