The CEO of Generation Citizen is an inspiring leader that has ambitious goals for the future of the organization. She fosters a trust-based culture, placing a high level of trust in hear leadership team and employees across the organization, empowering them to take ownership of their work and make meaningful contributions. One of the standout pros of working at Generation Citizen is the flexible work schedule including unlimited PTO and remote/hybrid work setups. The organization understands the importance of work-life balance and provides employees with the flexibility to manage their time effectively. This flexibility allows for a better integration of personal and professional commitments, promoting overall well-being. Generation Citizen is a place for those who thrive on innovation and collaboration. Generation Citizen is still in the process of building and refining some of its internal systems. This means that there may be instances where certain processes or structures are lacking or not fully developed. Working at Generation Citizen requires individuals who are comfortable with ambiguity and are up for the challenge of co-creating a new system or building a new approach, when needed.

I appreciate my team and the work I get to do with teachers. Civics Days are special and I love coaching. The CVP team is great.

The culture of the organization has taken a nosedive in the last couple of years. There is a lack of trust for management with good reason. Gossip culture. Favorites. Our mission gets lost because of poor communication and a national team with mean girl energy. No opportunities for career progression. Also Scott Warren isn't the CEO. Elizabeth Clay Roy is.
