Avantages

- Professional staff to work with - Exciting relevant projects with current technology - Excellent training and team support - Flexible scheduling when not working on large projects with fixed dates - A culture of continuous improvement -A diverse global environment (although each specific location may not be diverse, the entire global team structure is). I have had the opportunity to work with dozens of countries and individuals around the globe. - Focus on high quality

Inconvénients

- Compensation is on par for comparable companies/industry but is lower than the major consulting arms; but then again the positions are fixed, lower travel and much safer (an acceptable trade of secure position vs. salary). - Continuous improvement means time spent collecting data and analyzing data(along with completing standard development work). Improved quality means higher workload and keeping busy. - Work life balance is normally fair (as German labor laws tend to assist globally). However, expect to be on large global projects that require commitment. I would not consider work life balance a con, but rather an expectation of duty for strategic projects.

Avantages

Stable company with broad global reach. Front office jobs not demanding, hybrid schedules and low expectations lead most to be 30-35 hr weeks.

Inconvénients

At first this looks like a positive: you’ll notice that many employees have tenures of 15,20, 30 years. But that leads to a lot of group think and insular behaviors. They actually have a common statement among employees - “you’re not a Freudenberger unless you’ve been here 10 years.” Not exactly a welcoming statement to new employees. If you’d like to have your input and thoughts ignored for a decade, this is the place for you. Convinced they have great technologies, but in market terms, average technology at best. Horrific infighting between divisions. Management meetings resemble Klukluxclan meetings in terms of diversity. Pay scales below market, 401k match very weak
