Avantages
- Good name to have on your CV - Healthcare and insurance benefits are good
Inconvénients
- Extremely poor management - Very political - Uninteresting work - No career progression for 99% of support staff - Pay is terrible when you account for *actual* number of hours worked - Low bonus when considering contribution - Cuts in most business support functions (IT, HR, Events and Finance) which were pushed onto EAs without explanation, support, thorough training, or financial gain from the additional workload (and additional hours worked as a result) - Huge divide between fee earners and non-fee earners - Admin and other support teams are viewed as ‘beneath’ the lawyers and subsequently means we aren’t respected, valued or looked after by the business
