Inconvénients
The Founder/CEO is a micromanager to the extreme, but lacks an understanding of the functions of the business. When he notices something that he does not recognize or understand (which is most everything), he becomes very reactive and will be harsh to whoever is involved.. He will interfere with projects and insert himself, even if his assistance is not needed. There is a lack of transparency, such as resignations, layoffs, and finances. He over promises to clients and sets the team up so that underdelivering is inevitable. Promotions usually don’t come with any significant pay raise and there is hardly any chance of financial growth beyond a promotion. Given the amount of work you are expected to do, the pay is significantly lower than industry standards.
