Avantages
From top to bottom, Fire Engine RED is a company that knows itself and is committed to serving institutions of Higher Education through a variety of services. The CEO and Owner works hard to promote a culture of transparency not only internally, but also with it's clients as well. This is something I very much value as an employee. Work-life balance is also a big piece of the company culture. Having worked at an institution that was always willing to take more of my time, it's a huge difference being at Fire Engine RED. Yes, there are demands at different times like any other job, but leadership is incredibly supportive and wants you to take time off when needed. Compensation is incredibly fair and unlike a public company, the CEO works hard to make sure that your efforts are recognized. I've received two generous pay raises since starting at the company and know the opportunity for more exists. In regards to advancement and mobility opportunities, I would say that there are lots of opportunities depending on your skill set. If you make the professional and personal investment in Fire Engine RED, you will see opportunities. Several of my colleagues have been promoted, able to work across divisions and build on their own success.
Inconvénients
Given that we're a virtual company, I'd love more opportunities to connect with others in person and meet people face to face. I've met several already, but would love the opportunity to meet more and make more connections.
