You can own your work and see the payoff of great plans. It's not a very large company, so you'll get to know a lot of people. The product has some technical debt from being around so long, but things are being updated with every release. We have employees all over the globe. We are always actively working at improving the company.

If you are not self-directed to work, it would be easy not to perform well. You have to own your work and take pride in doing great things. This is not for everyone, so I list it as a con. Also, because it's a small company, there are financial limits on what can be done to solve a problem, so creativity in problem-solving is used quite often to find the most responsible way to solve a problem.
