Avantages
There's a great culture at FAS. All the engineers are great, and open to helping out younger engineers at the company, plus you get to know almost everyone in the company which is a cool feeling. There's great benefits with health insurance, overtime pay, bonuses, and company events. I can confidently say I learned a lot working for them and it was a relatively low stress job if you just followed directions from your superiors.
Inconvénients
I applied as a mechanical engineering Co-Op and thought I would be doing design work on robot cells, and manufacturing systems, which didn't really end up being the case. There is a team that deals with those items, however I was put more on the controls and HMI design side, and stayed there for my terms with minimal experience outside of it, so if you are applying, keep an eye out for that.
