Avantages
Good pay Nice Office Location with garage parking Comfortable work environment with hybrid schedule Some of the people were amazingly smart
Inconvénients
Unrealistic expectations from management Poor cost control Lack of transparency across teams and management - lots of in-fighting among teams trying to effectuate real change and the "old guard" within the executive teams. The CEO seems to prefer echo chambers to actual conversations and seems to enjoy separating himself from the teams rather than to meaningful engage in thoughtful discussion and debate. Employee recognitions are chosen from peer submissions, but the selection process is shrouded in secrecy. When the program was reinstated, 2 women were selected, and the CEO chose to make a video to congratulate the recipients as opposed to speaking with them in person and shaking their hands - even though all parties were present in the office that day. The old guard of the company have short tempers and even shorter memories. The many lay-offs are demoralizing and preventable through better strategic cost control. The executive management team should handle resource planning more effectively to avoid the constant brain drain of mass lay-offs. In 2 years, I witnessed mass 3 layoffs.
