      Avantages

      They invest in their employees, paying for me to qualify as a level two swimming teacher and offering me work in other areas at the centre during my gap year prior to uni. The working atmosphere is friendly, my boss is great and is flexible with holiday and cover. Access to the gym, pool and fitness classes for free!

      Inconvénients

      pay isn't as good as elsewhere. they expect you to set up and pack away equipment for 10 mins before and after without paying for your time.

      Avantages

      Large company with options to relocate around the country, if you wanted to. Very good with health and safety procedures, majority of processes ready to be implemented.

      Inconvénients

      Very sales driven. Targets, KPIs and profits are prioritised over colleagues and members. Sales team expected to give up personal time on end of month. You're expected to check and respond to emails when you're off or on annual leave. The company is very clique, you don't really progress unless you know someone in a senior role. Salary is always advertised as 'competitive' however, the pay doesn't justify the work you're required to do, or the extra time you work without pay. It's frown upon to claim for time worked outside of your contracted hours. There is no such thing as work life balance: you're expected to work day all the time and not be paid for it.
